Finals Week

This next week is finals week and I am not looking forward to it. I know I will do fine on my finals because I have all A's in my classes it's just the thought of a final. The one that I am more concerned with is my RDG 050 class because I have to take the COMPASS test and score and 81 or higher to pass the class. I think that is a little ridculous because if you have an A in the class and you don't get an 81 you automatically fail the class and have to retake the class. I have test anxiety which does effect the way I take tests and concentrate on them as well. I don't like taking tests at all which im sure most people don't enjoy taking tests or finals. Another final that I have to study for is my ASL final. It is a 25 multiple choice questions about the  culture of sign language and then he will sign sentences to us and we have to know what he is signing. I am not so nervous about that because we have been doing that all semester but I just want to get a good grade on it so I can keep and A. I am really glad that I don't have a final in my English class because that is one less test I have to study for and one less thing I have to worry about. The last final that I take is my Math final which I think is going to be really easy for me because I have got a A on every test. I have to make an B or higher to pass the class, which I will be okay with. I know that I will do good on my final for that class because the whole semester I have got A's on my tests and also I know what I am doing, it is very easy for me. I think that my finals this semester are going to be a lot easier than the ones I might have next semester because I have harder classes.

If I Could Go Anywhere....

A place I would rather be than here in my English class would be Mexico. I love Mexico. My family goes every year in the summer and it is one of my favorite vacations spots. I would love to go back to the resort we went to last year but I can't remember the name of it. Anytime we go to Mexico we always go to an all exclusive resort. The one that I went to last year was more for adults than kids which I enjoyed. Also the beaches were more private than that others I have been too. The sand on the beach was all white , the ocean was like a clear blue color, and there were huge rocks you could climb up onto when the waves werent really big. When I climbed up on the rocks it was really nice because you could feel the breeze from the ocean water and you could feel a mist from the water splashing up agaist the rocks. Another one of my favorite things about this resort is there was a huge spa you could go to. They had a massage area where you could actually go outside on a rock that is out over the ocean to watch and you could relax. There were little pools you could go into that had different types of jets so you could massage your back or feet when you are in the water. Another thing that was at the spa was a building you walk through that had all kinds of different rooms that did certain things. One of the rooms I went in was you stood under a warm shower and a scent of oranges would come out of the misters above my head. They used aroma therapy to help you relax. Further down in the building is a sauna where you can sit inside and warm your body up. When you where done with the sauna there would be a bucket of ice cubs to rub all over your body to help cool you off. I would love to be laying on the beach right now just listening to the waves crash up on the shore. I would love to feel the mist from the ocean as I am laying out to help cool me off. It is a very peaceful place for me to be.

If I was there right now I would be laying down on my lawn chair tanning. I would see all the people around me in their different kinds of bathing suits. I would see all the people that work there that are setting up things for activities. I would see the ocean splashing up on the huge rocks. I would see the crabs crawling around in the sand. I would see the see weed that is being washed up on the shore. I would see my family all laying our and enjoying the hot warm sun. I would see other families taking pictures to make memories.

If I was there right now I would hear the ocean splashing and roaring up on shore. I would hear people laughing. I would hear people playing volleyball in sand pit a ways from me. I would hear the music playing on my phone. I would hear the ladies that walk by on the beach asking if anyone needs drinks. I would hear kids playing in the ocean. I would hear kids playing in the sand trying to make sand castles.

If I was there right now I would feel the sand across my feet. The sand is soft and cool. But when my feet are wet the sands sticks to my feet. I could feel the hot, sticky, humid air all around me. In Mexico it is so humid everywhere you go. I would feel the cool salty water on my skin when I would be in the ocean. I could feel the little crabs pinching at my feet when I step on them. I could feel my skin getting warmer and warmer when I am laying out in the sun. I could feel the thickness of the sun screen or the tanning lotion.

Darth Vatar Theme Sounds

I would rather have Darth Vatar's Theme song appear anytime I walked into a room than to look like Yasir Arafat in a mirror. I would rather have that song play because at least every one knows that song and knows where it came from. If I looked into the mirror and saw Yasir Arafat everytime I looked into the mirror I think that I would freak out and I would never want to look into a mirror again. He is not attractive at all. If I soudned the Darth Vatar song people would be more entertained by that then looking like him. I like the star wars movies and so do a lot of other people out there. Yes, Darth Vatar is a bad guy, but that doesnt' mean that I would be too. It would be fun too on Halloween because if you dressed up as him you could just go places and it would match your costume. I think that it would more fun as a kid to have this ability than an older adult because after a while it would get really annoying every where you went.

Would You Rather?

If I had a choice between crawling eyebrows on my face or leave a trail of papreka every where I go I would go with the second choice. I would rather leave papreka every where I went because papreka smells good and is pleasant. People would much rather enjoy something that smells good than someone who freaks them out by having crawling eyebrows. I would hate to have crawling eye brows because people would make fun of you all the time, plus they could go anywhere on your face which would just be embarrasing to have eyebrows on your cheeks or chin or something. Papreka would be much more enjoyable. I like papreka because it reminds me of my mom. Any time you walk in the front door you always get a huge wiff of papreka. She has it in the living room, the kitchen, and her bed room. I love being at my moms house because it always smells so good. At my dads we always light candles and insense. My mom also uses a lot of candles too but she has papreka everywhere. My favorite kind is the fall/ orange smell. My mom has it in her room right now and it has a mixture of a warm smell and a fruity orange smell with it. Yes i do agree that both of these choices would be weird but I would rather smell good than look funny from eyebrows crawling on my face. If I had eyebrows like that it would freak myself out let alone others. Papreka also reminds me of Silver Dollar City because anytime I am there I always go into the candle stores and they alwyas have papreka in there. It always smells so good and peaceful. It's fun to go into the stores and smell all the candles and fight over which one I am actually going to buy.

My Family

I have a pretty big family and I love it. My parents got divorced when I was 3 and my sister was 1. So since I was a little kid I have always had 2 homes. I lived with my mom until I was a little over 16. I had always wanted to live with my dad because I am a big daddy's girl, so  I finally made that decision. My sister Hannah is 16 and I have a half sister who is 9 and her name is Ashley. When my dad and step mom where married I had a step brother who is 20 and his name is Brandon. My dad and step mom where married for 13 years and just recently got a divorce. It is kinda sad but I think it was for the better because they started fighting all the time about stuff. My moms side of the family is really big. I can remember when we were little and had our reunions we would have about 75 people there. My mom has 2 sisters and my grandma has 10 siblings. I couldnt even count how many cousins I have. My dads side of the family isnt as big as my moms. He has one half brother.

Final Blog Post

This is my final blog post. I think that I have come a ways with writing and typing because everyday in class we start by warming up on our blogs. It helps to get my mind going and helps me get whats out of mind. I had never even used a blog before until this class. It was different for me but at the same time I enjoyed it. It helped me to become a better writer. I liked writing blogs but because I wasn't used to using a blog and first I hated it. I didn't like using it because I like to talk about my feelings and thoughts not type them or write them out. Now I actually enjoy writing blogs because I feel like I am telling stories about certain events in my life and its nice. Sometimes I feel like I am writing to an audience which in a way I am because the class can see it and because you (Mrs.A) reads these posts. Hopefully I can continue to use my blog and make it a daily habit so I can record certain events in my life and things that I enjoy doing or just thinks that I like. I think that I became a better writer because I got used to writing every morning that it got my brain going and I could think better about what I wanted to write about. Also it helped me free write better because I do use the back space a lot and you were right about the back space when you use it you tend to loose your train of thought because you are going to back to correct your mistakes. It helped me to just let my mind flow and then when I was done I could go back and correct what was wrong. I do see a change in my writing and I believe that it is a very good thing and will help me later on in college, especially with college essays. At first it was hard for me to open up and just talk about a topic and now because I am used to it, it is a lot easier for me to do. I am very glad we did this project because it did help me.

My Future Plans

I have a lot of plans that I would like to accomplish in my life. I am wanting to become an Anesthesiologist which is going to take a lot of school. I already have my CNA license which takes 2 years to get so I got a head start. I am working on getting my Associate of Arts Degree before I transfer to UMKC so that I have an actual degree when I do transfer and not just per-requisites. The degree that I am wanting is a Doctorate which is going to take about 8-10 years at the least. Yes that is a lot of school but I am willing to work very hard to get all the way through school. My cousin just graduated from UMKC with a medicine degree. He didn't do so good in high school but worked very hard in college and it has payed off. He is a big influence on me when it comes to wanting to go to medical school. After I get my Associates of Arts Degree I am going to transfer to UMKC to do their pre-med program. I know that I want to go into the medical field because I enjoy helping people out and taking care of people. I like being able to help someone out when they need help and can't do it themselves. It's nice when you know you made someones day by just helping them or taking care of them. I want to be an Anesthesiologist because I would like to study medicine and I like surgery. I know its a big responsibility to put someones life in your hands but I think that I would be a very good doctor.

Concerts

I love going to concerts. I have been to a lot of concerts which most of them are country artists. My first concert that I had ever been to was Sara Evans. She was really good and had an amazing concert. My mom got us floor tickets which were awesome even though we had to stand on the chairs to see because we were so short. The other concert I went to was Carrie Underwood, which was one of my favorite concerts because she is one of my favorite artists. Her concert was at the JQH Arena and was huge. We were in row D which was to the right of the stage so we were pretty close up. Her concert was so good, she flew up in the air in a car above everyone when she sang on of her songs. She also had the crowd sing happy birthday because it was her mother's birthday. I thought that was pretty cool to have her mom at her concert and bring her out so the crowd can sing happy birthday with her. Another concert I went to was Luke Bryan at the State Fair. He puts on a really good concert too. The crowd was going crazy when he came out and was going crazy the whole time. Most of his songs are more upbeat country songs so it was really fun. I also went to Brad Paisley. He put on a really good concert as well. Another one I went to was Travis Porter and Mac Miller. Their concert was really awesome. My friend Jessica and I went with her brother and some other friends but we got front row seats. I took tons of pictures and got a lot of videos. It was probably one of my favorite concerts I had been to because I was able to be front and center and see everything. I am going to another concert this weekend which is Carrie Underwood again. My mom got me these tickets for graduation. I am very excited to go see her again because she had such and amazing concert the first time I saw her.

Volleyball

Volleyball is my favorite sport. I started playing in the 6th grade and played all the way into high school. I don't really know what made me want to play but once I played one time with my friend who had played for a while I just stuck with it and then really like it. I played on A team when I was in middle school and I played when I was in high school as well. I played my freshman year, my sophomore year I couldn't play because I hurt my back, my junior year I moved to Rogersville high school and they had already had tryouts so I wasn't able to play, and my senior year I focused more on school which I really regret. I did play club ball my sophomore and junior year. I loved playing club ball because I got to play with all my friends and club ball also made me better. With club ball we got a little more one on one time because we had a smaller team then a high school team. I also loved playing club ball because I got to hit front row. Before club ball I only played back row which was fun but I liked playing front row better because once I started hitting more I was a better all around player than I used to be. My little sister Ashley plays volleyball and it makes me miss it everyday. I am proud of her because she does really good in it and I hope she continues to play.

Hannah and Ashley

Hannah is my real sister. She is 16, has blonde hair and blue eyes. She has lots of freckles like me which we get from our dad. Ashley is 9 and she has blonde hair and brown eyes. She is my half sister. It funny to see Hannah and Ashley stand next to each other because they look just alike and then have the same stance. Ashely is going to be taller than Hannah and I. Her mom was 5'7 and my dad is 6 foot which my mom is 5'4. So that makes a big difference. I love both of my sisters to death and would do anything for them. I like being the big sister because they look up to me. I am always trying to be a role model for them and someone they can come to for advice or look up to because that's what big sisters are for. When Hannah and I were little we used to fight constantly, I mean even big fights. I can remember the time when we would just wrestle and beat each other up because we would get in a little argument or Hannah would just pester me till I got mad. Hannah loved to just make noises or just go up to me and touch me just to make me mad because she thought it was funny. All of us girls have been in sports since we were little. Hannah and I played soccer, softball, and basketball together. Ashley is in gymnastics and plays volleyball like I did. I have worked really hard to help Ashley with volleyball because she is good and she really likes to sport. I hope she continues to play in middle school and throughout high school so she can get a scholarship. Hannah is a dancer now. She does more ballet and jazz dancing. She enjoys dancing very much. My sisters are very out going people and I am happy to be their big sister.

Cooking

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do. My mom has always cooked delicious meals and so has my Nannie. When I was little I was always over at my Nannies house because my parents were at work. Evey night my Nannie would cook dinner and I would go help her in the kitchen. I had my own chair I stood up on and my own counter area. The thing I loved doing to most was cutting up tomatoes and green beans. I loved cooking with my Nannie because she would let me try everything and I got to bond with her as well. My mom has always cooked as well. My mom would stay up all the time baking cakes or cup cakes and cookies. Deserts are one of my favorite things to cook. My mom makes the best German Chocolate Cake and she makes really good cupcakes. I like her cupcakes because she makes her own icing. I am not a big sugar person so I dont like the icing you can buy in a tub from the store. My moms was sweet but not too sweet where you couldnt eat it. I loved with my birthday would come around because she would make me whatever cake I wanted and it was always so good. My mom likes to make cakes with fruit on them or in them which I love. One of my favorite cakes she makes is her strawberry cake because she makes the actual cake mix strawberry flavored and then makes her own cream icing and puts fresh strawberries on top and then takes the juice from the strawberries and pours it on top of the cake. I am a good cook because I learned from my Nannie and my mom.

My Car

I have only had 3 cars since I was 16. My first car was a Toyota Corolla which was actually my moms car. When I turned 16 she got a different car and so she gave me her car. It was a nice first car but I hated the color of it. It was a real light purple. My sister always called it the rolling purple turd. Yeah it wasnt the best name for a car but it worked. When I moved in with my dad my mom kept my car and I got a Pontiac Sunfire. It was gold which I didnt like either but it was a car that worked good and got me around. It was a 2 door car as well which was my first sporty car. Here about a week ago my Dad called me on the phone and told me to come up to one of the car dealerships he was working at and said he wanted me to look at this car. When I showed up there it was a black BMW. I fell in love with the car and when I told my dad I wanted it he said " Call the insurance company and see how much your payment would be a month and your insurance.". I called and it was a a cheap price so me and my dad signed the papers and I got to take home a new car. It is a very nice BMW. It is a 2001 but it is one of the nicest, most kept up car I had seen for being that old. It only has 79,000 miles on it which was awesome because you never find cars that are that old with that low of miles on it. It is fully loaded too with a sunroof, automatic locks, automatic windows, nice stereo, nice wheels, and leather. I was very lucky to run across a car like this because you don't find so many cars that are that nice, that's a reasonable price, and that has low mileage on it as well.

CNA

My junior and senior year of high school I went to OTC to be in the Health Science Program. In this program you get college credits and also get high school credits. I am wanting to be a doctor when I am older so I knew this is the field I wanted to go into. Basically the first year is more of book work and observing things so you get the basics of health care. Believe it or not but most of the things you learn about health care are common sense. During the first year they teach you medical terminology, teach you about interviews, teach you the information on taking care of patients, and also you have clinical's. When we did our clinical's the first year we went to Cox and Mercy hospitals to observe on the different floors to help us decide more on the field we want to go into later on in life and after we graduate. When I was in clinical's I got to see a lot of crazy things such as a C-section, a blood clot being removed from a woman's leg, ultrasounds, different X-rays, and I got to hold babies when I was in the NICU. I got to hold a drug baby which was really sad because they cry all the time because they want to be held and their immune systems are low so they can get sick a lot easier. Its sad to know that a baby has to suffer from parents who did drugs when they were pregnant and harmed the baby. It was nice to hold the baby because I love babies and also when I would hold him he would just sleep and was happy. As soon as you would set him down he would start crying again. I got to feed him to which was fun. The second year of OTC is when you actually get to go to a nursing home and take care of people. It was a great experience because I got to help people who really needed help and couldn't take care of themselves. Its always nice when you know you can help someone that is in need. Another thing that I liked about going there is they enjoyed our company because we would sit with them and do activities, do their nails, do their hair, talk to them and tell stories, and just be nice to them. I really enjoyed being there and that's why I know the medical field is for me because I like to take care of people and help them when they can't help themselves.

My Work

I work at Nakato Japanese Steakhouse and have for a little over a year now. Out of all my jobs I have had which are Andy's and Aeropostale, this is my favorite job. I enjoy all the people I work with and its nice to go to work and get along with everyone that works there. Plus it is cool to work at a Japanese Steakhouse. I had always wanted to work there when I first started looking for jobs but I wasnt old enough. I started working when I was 15 and I had to be 16 to work there. So later on one night a little over a year ago I was eating dinner there with my family and was talking to them about how I needed to look for a different job, well my waitress heard me say that and told me to go fill out an application and she would put in a word for me. I was really shocked because I filled it out and brought it back the next day and my manager interviewed me right then. About a week later I went back in for a second interview and she hired me. I was so excited to start the job because I knew I was going to have a lot more fun than I did at Aeropostale. I was working at Aeropostale when I got the job at Nakato's but I had to get a job that payed better and that gave me enough hours and I could have a known schedule. I hated when I had to be on call almost everyday I was off and most of the time I called in just for a couple hours when they really didnt even need me. I just got tired of that place and new it was time to get a new one. I love my job because I get along with everyone there and I get to visit with people all day. I am a very big people person so it works out great being a hostess.

My Wreck

My wreck happened this year on July 25. It was about 11:45 at night when it happened and was the scariest moment of my life. I was driving a Tahoe which are SUV's and I am lucky I was in that instead of my car because I would have got crushed. I was going out to Ozark to one of my friends house when I crashed on NN. The speed limit was 55 and I was going about 45 miles per hour. They had just paved NN so it had about a 1 inch lip on the side of the road. I was driving and look over to turn the air down and when I looked back up I was going off the road. I tried to correct the car but it lost control. The right front tire popped which is what I think made me loose control because as soon as I got back up on the road my car immediately swerved to the left, then the right, and left again, and then flipped 3 times. When all this was happening I didn't know what to do. All I could hear was the tires squealing and then the crunching of the car. I had my seat belt on thank God because they said if I wouldn't have had my seat belt on I would have been ejected from the vehicle and would have probably died. When they told me that I was terrified because it only takes a second to do something wrong in a car and you can die. It was also the first wreck I had every been in and was the scariest moment I had ever experienced. It was really surprising though because the Tahoe didn't really look that bad. None of the windows were busted out, the only window that got cracked was the front windshield. The top rails on top of the car where ripped off and then the step stools on each side but other than that there really wasn't much damage which was really surprising. I was taken to the hospital after my wreck and found out that I had a hip contusion and a back sprain from the seat belt holding me in and from me holding onto the steering wheel so tight. I couldn't move for about 2 days after my wreck because I was so sore and miserable. Any time I drive now I am very careful because I don't want anything to happen again like that to me or anyone else in my family that is in the car with me.

Spring Break 2012!

Spring Break 2012 was an amazing trip with my friends. It was the first time I had every traveled without my parents. It was me and 7 of my other friends who all went to Panama City Beach, Florida. My friends Jessica and I were there only girls on the trip and the rest were our close guy friends. Believe it or not we didnt want any other girls going because we honestly just don't like girls. Jessica and I drove down in her 350Z which was awesome because we got to drive a sweet car and it was just us girls in the car. I was really surprised that all of our stuff fit in the car but it did. It took us 14 hours to get to Florida. It was a very long drive but I am used to it because for the past 4 years I have gone with my dad to Panama City so it was all familiar with me. It was nice too because I got to drive her car most of the time because I knew where I was going. We stayed a week down in Florida which was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was where we stayed because it was too far from all the shops and restaurants. Our condo was really nice in the inside but I just wished it was closer into where everything actually was. Every day we were at the beach. There were parties all along the beach, there were private bashes you bought tickets too, and all kinds of different events. One thing we did was we went to the MTV Bash on the beach. That was an amazing day because we got front row, got to watch people perform, get lots of free stuff, and just dance and have a good time. Another thing we did was we went to Coyote Ugly every night which is a bar but we had a blast there. I made so many memories with my friends there and would love to go back and make more with them!

Christmas Time

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. It is one of my favorite holidays because I get to gather around with all my family, make memories, and remember an important day. Each year I switch what day I am with my dad or mom. If I am with  my dad on Christmas then I am with my mom on Christmas Eve and then it switches the next year. It has been that way since I was 3 when my parents got a divorce. When I am with my dad on Christmas Eve we would always go to Branson to my step-mom mom's house with the whole family. We always have a good time because we get to see people we haven't seen in a while and we have a feast. There are tons of pictures taken especially of the little kids. We always take one picture of all the cousins and then we try to get a whole group picture. But things are going to be different from now on because my dad and step-mom just got a divorce so we wont be going to Branson anymore. On my dad's side of the family the only people that are actually in town are me, my dad, and Nannie (dad's mom). So this year we are not quite sure what we are going to do. When I am with my mom we either go to my grandma's house or we go to my aunt Jennifer's house. The past few years it has been at my aunt Jennifer's house. It is always really fun because how we do presents is Secret Santa. We always have lots of food to eat too, which I love. Usually on Christmas Day I go to church with my family. Its always nice to go to church to listen and celebrate what Christmas is really about. Its not all about presents and getting things, its about Jesus being born.

Red

Red is bright color. Red makes me think about the leaves in the fall once they have changed colors. It also makes me think about apples. I would like to be able to eat apples but I am allergic to them. Red also makes me think about a hospital. It makes me think about the old hospital crosses that nurses wore on their hats and it makes me think of blood. Yeah I know that may seem weird to say but your blood is red when you see it. Red reminds me of Christmas. I think about all the lights outside my house, on the tree, and the decorations around the house. I think about the sweaters people wear that are green and red. Another thing that I think about is Santa because he always wears red. And yes I do know that he isnt real but you always have to have someone to be Santa for the kids. Also I think of stop signs and stop lights on the road.

Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is one of my dogs, she is a miniture schnauzer. When we got her she was a few weeks old and had black hair. You could literally hold her in your palms and thats how big she was. She was the most adorable puppy I had seen. My dad sent me a picture of her with 2 green bows on her ears and says " Do you like?" I immediately called him and said " Is that our new puppy?", he replied " YES!" I was so excited to see her so I rushed over to Petland to see her. I could just see the excitement in my dads eyes because he has always had schnauzer's growing up as a kid and he wanted a puppy of his own. We already had another dog named Tootsie so we were interested to see what she was going to think about the new puppy. She actually did quite well with her. Now Daisy Mae is a little over a year and is a pepper color, black and silver. She is so pretty and cracks me up because she has a crazy personality for a dog. She is also a big daddy's girl just like me. She follows my dad around everywhere. If he goes outside she follows, if he goes to a differnent room in the house she follows him, and sometimes when he leaves the house she will go with him. Its so funny to watch her sometimes because she is always playful and hyper. Every morning when she gets up she comes down stairs to my room and wakes me up. She also loves to cuddle up but she has to be on top of you. She is the biggest lap dog I have ever owned. I mean if you are sitting on the couch or anywhere she has to be sitting in your lap and you have to pet her or she will nudge your hand until you do touch her. Daisy is a very good dog and I am very glad I have such a good dog like her.

Math Class

I am in Math 050 this semester and I feel like I should be in a high level class. I come to class everyday and it just feels like review for me. It doesnt really interest me because I already know everything that we go over. On the days that we have Aleks which is when we do online assignments. I sometimes like doing the online assignments because it actually gives me problems to figure out and if i get them right then I get to move on to the other questions.  If you get the question wrong then it keeps giving you more problems until you get them all right. I think that is a good stradegy because if you don't practice on what you don't know then you wont learn the information fully. I also like that when I come on Aleks day I usually get done with class early because I can finish the assignments early and dont have any homework. Its nice having this class on just Mondays and Fridays because when I do have homework I have more time to get it done. Out of all of my classes my Math class is the easiest, plus I enjoy doing math.

Peach

Peach is very elegant color. It is such a light, pleasant color. There are a couple things that I know that are peach of the top of my head and it is a crayon and clothing. Also peaches are really good too. They are one of my favorite fruits. I like fruit a lot but peaches are the best. Peaches are really good because they are always juicy and have a lot of flavor. Some other fruits I like are strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and oranges. A fruit I can't eat are apples. I used to eat apples all the time when I was younger until one day in 6th grade I broke out with hives on my throat and chest and my throat was very itchy and it was hard for me to breathe. I don't have really bad allergic reactions but it is enough to make me not want to eat apples. I went years without eating an apple when I first broke out and I wanted to see if I was still allergic to them, so I ate some apple pie. When I was eating it I was fine but then about 5 minutes into eating I began to feel like something was stuck in my throat, so I started coughing. That's when I knew I was still allergic to them. The coughing became worse and then I started breaking out on my neck and my chest. I didnt like that feeling so I decided I wasn't going to eat them anymore, even though I really like them. But back to peaches, there are some memories with peaches from my childhood. I remember when I would be with my Nannie all the time when I was little and we would go to the store just to pick out peaches. She knew I really liked peaches. She would take me to this store called Stinert's garden which is out towards Nixa. They had the best fresh food you could by epecially peaches.

It makes me mad when people lie about things. I don’t quite understand why people feel the need to lie about things but, they do. I have lied about things before so I am not so innocent but I also regret lying to because it’s not right. Sometimes people lie about little things and then some are very big things. Lying isn’t good because normally people end up getting caught in the end and then in more trouble because they lied about it. The truth is the best way to go because even if you did something wrong at least you can be honest about what you did. I have a very big trust issue with people because I have been lied to by many people I was close to or friends.

Imaginary person

My person that I have choosen to make has many physical and personality traits. One of the traits she has is long hair. She also brown hair. Her hair is naturally curly and she wears it straight sometimes. She has a streek of pink in her hair to represent breast cancer. She has brown eyes and wears glasses. She is an athletic girl so she is kind of bulky but doesnt look like a man. She also has light colored skin, its not super pale but more of like an Irish skin tone. She also has freckles. This girl can be very quiet at times especially when she is concentrating on school. Outside of school she is a very bubbly and happy person. She enjoys being around people so she is very friendly and she is fun to be around. She is also preppy, she enjoys dressing up and looking nice. Sometimes when she gets around her friends she can be loud but usually she is quiet. This person seems a lot like people in today's society which I guess is a good thing because she would fit in with others around her.

She doesnt talk much when she's alone or not around a bunch of people. When she's around her friends that changes to being excited and bouncy. She enjoys being pretty and dressing to fit in. Sometimes she can be outspoken, kind, and enjoyble. These are all traits she inquires.

College

I am starting my first year of actual college at OTC. I was a little nervous about coming to college but I had already gone here for 2 years when I was in the Allied Health Program in high school. I really enjoyed that program and was able to graduate high school with my CNA license. Now that I have started college it's crazy how much less homework I have than I did when I was in high school. I rememeber my teachers telling me just wait till you get to college you are going to have more homework and be spending more of your time on homework. Well I have to say right now they are wrong but, it could change later. I do enjoy going to college because I like the fact that I get to pick my days and what time I want to go to class. If I cant make it to class then I dont have to go, I dont have to have my parents call the school saying I wont be there that day. I also like college because if I get done early with my work in class I am allowed to leave which is nice because I hate sitting in a class room when I have nothing else to do. College is a big thing for me and I try very hard at getting the best grades I can. When I graduated high school I had straight A's and my GPA of my last semester was a 4.0. I was very proud of myself for putting all that effort into school all 4 years and it payed off well. I will continue to do the same until I graduate college because I believe that I need to be successful with my education to receive the job or go into the field I am wanting to go into.

October

October is one of my favorite seasons of the year. Its one of my favorite because I enjoy watching the leaves slowy change colors on the trees and then eventually drop. I love the colors of the leaves red, yellow, orange, and brown. Another reason why I love October is Halloween because I like to dress up in silly costumes and have fun with my friends. I also enjoy taking my little sister Ashley trick-or-treating for candy. Its funny how she can come back with so much candy and then everyone else wants to eat it mainly my dad.Where I live we dont get many trick-or-treaters because we live off of a highway, so its always fun when we take my sister because we get to also see all the other little kids in their costumes. I also like October because thats usually when the bon fires begin. Last year I had a Halloween bonfire and it was a lot of fun and I am hoping that I get to have another one this year. I had a ton of people there probably around 100 people. We had a blast. I also love roasting marshmellows by the fire and making smores. Another thing that I like about October is football season. I love to watch football , specially the Kansas City Chiefs. I like going to get togethers to watch football because there are always good food and drinks. October is one of my favorite months of the year.

Ego

A moment when my ego affected me the most was when I stuck up for my sister when she was 14. A 16 year old girl told her that she was going to beat her up and I thought that wasn't okay. I am very protective over my sisters and I would do anything for them. We couldnt quite figure out why the girl wanted to fight  my sister because the girl was the one who started a rumor about my sister. It didn't really make since. My sister had done nothing wrong to this girl and was threatning my sister. I was not okay with someone who is 2 years older than her picking on her and threatninig her. So, I told the girl to leave her alone and that it was pretty pathetic to pick on someone who is younger than you and to pick on someone when you were the one who started the rumor. I just didn't find it very funny unlike she did. I think that bullying is a very terrible thing and no one should do that to others. I have been bullied before and it wasnt fun but I stuck up for myself and they stopped. I feel that once you show someone you are not taking crap from them and your not afraid to defend yourself, then they will leave you alone cause its only hurting them not you. I also stick up for my friends no matter what because I know they would stick up for me. I am a very caring person of others and almost everytime put others before myself. I have always been that way and it will continue to be that way. Every once in a while someone is going to need my help and I would like to be there to help them, which is what I did for my sister. When I was in high school my freshman year I had some sophmores who thought they were better than me and could make fun of me which wasn't okay. It did make me upset that they would be mean and make rumors about me for no reason just because they didnt like me. To this day, I still don't know why they didn't like me but, I really don't care about that now. I stuck up for myself and they stopped doing what they were doing.

Know Your Audiance

On our discussion board people are posting different questions and other people are answering them. Some of the questions consist of if you could be anything in the world what would it be, what is the most important thing to you and why its important, and if you could choose certain lives to live what or who would it be? These are all questions that anyone can answer and anyone can also learn things about a person they didn't know before. This is also a very good way of getting people to write about what they like and feel.
When I read the posts I think of the things I like and people I would want to be. For example "if you could choose to live a life on any television show,present or past, which show would it be , who would you be, and why did you choose this show?". These type of questions make me think but then they also make me want to live the life of certain people who are famous and wonder what it is really like to live in there shoes. Also when I read other peoples responses to questions I tend to wonder why they said what they said or I can relate. Being able to read what others post about the things they are interested in makes me feel like I can be open to about things. Also I felt like some of the questions were going to be asked, for example, like if you could choose one thing that is important to you what would it be and why? There are also many reasons as to why I feel the discussion board is a good idea and the way I feel about certain posts.
I think that the blog posts and the discussion board about random questions is a good thing because it allows people to ask questions to get to know each other, to let out the way they feel about things or their opinions on a question, and it also lets others learn or relate to what other people say. I like to read the discussion board to see what kind of questions they put up just to see what their mind is set towards or what they want to know about us as the readers. Also I like some of the questions on here because yes I would enjoy to be a celebrity for one day, or tell people what is more important to me and why it is. I also feel like the blog posts and questions are good because it allows us to talk about certain things we like and what we are interested in. I would love to be on a t.v. show and be a celebrity for one day just to see how different their lifestyle is to mine and the people are me.

At The End of My Street...

At the end of my street...
At my dads house I live out towards Rogersville, which is out in the country. My house is surrounded by woods. I live on J highway so I dont really have much around me. If I turn right out of my driveway I can either go straight out towards Rogersville or I can turn left at the fork which takes me towards town. If I turn left out of my driveway I would go down a ways till I hit highway 60. If i decide to keep going straight down my street across highway 60, it turns in to NN. This is where I had my accident on July 25, on NN. If I contintue down NN it takes me into Ozark where Lambert's is. I love that resteraunt. Now if i decide to go right out of driveway towards town its going to take me over by Glendale High School and then down towards the Battlefield Mall.
There are other ways to think of this statement as well such as what happens at the end of my street.
Once I leave the end of my driveway its my free will to go where I want. I can let the road take me where it wants to go or I can choose a place to go. Also once I leave my driveway its my free will to make the decisions I want to make, hopefully they are good ones. I usually make good decisions because I am afraid of being in trouble, I dont like to be in trouble at all. At the end of my street can lead me in different directions in life. I can choose the path I want to take in life and who is in my life as well. Or I can just let life takes it tole on me, be free spirited, and just live life to the fullest. I believe that people should live life to the fullest but I also believe that people should be in control over their lives as well. Sometimes people decide to take the wrong turn and go down the wrong street which can lead them to a bad situation if they allow themselves to. People can take the right turn and allow their life to be filled with good situations and decisions.

Tuesdays Agenda

Woke up at 10:00 am from a text.
Got up straightened my hair.
Put my make up on.
Got dressed.
Ate breakfast.
Turned on my computer.
 Worked on my reading modules that were due.
Then worked on some of my in book assignments for my reading class.
 Around 1230 I ate lunch.
I let my dogs out and made sure they food and water.
At 130 I left my house.
At 145 I arrived at the doctors for my appointment.
 Got done with my doctors appointment around 215.
Called my dad to let him know how my appointment went.
Called my mom to let her know how my appointment went.
Went tanning at Body FX for 10 minutes.
Drove home.
Got dressed for work around 3.
My dad and sister showed up at 315 at the house.
I left for work at 3:30.
Got to work at 3:50.
Clocked on at work.
Wrote the seating chart out.
Sharped pencils.
Folded sushi menus.
Cleaned the windows on the door.
Put the names on the tip box.
Opened the doors to my work at 4:00
Worked until 10:00 that night.
Called my best friend to see what she had called for while I was at work.
Got home around 10:20.
Started finishing my modules for my reading class.
My friend Dallas came over around 11:00.
Made some roman noodles and tea.
Talked with my dad.
Finished my modules around 12:30.
Watched T.V. for a while.
Dallas left my house at 1:45am.
I went to sleep at 2:30am.

Summarization:
I woke up at 10:00 am, got ready, and did my homework. I went to the doctor at 1:45pm, tanned, went home to get ready, and went to work at 4, and worked until 10:00 pm.

Analysis:
I have discovered that I did have a busy day because as soon as I woke up I got ready and did homework until I had to go to my doctors appointment. Once I was done with my doctor appointment I went home to get ready for work and then went to work. I didnt really have time to sit down and rest for a while or have me time. I used my time when I could. When I woke up I started my homework, when I was at work I worked on homework, and when I got home I was working on homework again. I am pretty deticated to my school work because I want to be successful in life and turn things in on time. I also realized that I am staying up too late and not getting enough sleep before school. I have been going to bed around 1 or 2 in the morning and then getting up at 6 to get ready for school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

3. Be dependant for my family.

I have spent probably 75% of my time working on homework and working to help me be successful in school and help me make decent money for the time being.

I believe that I love this weather. Fall is one of my favorite seasons besides summer. I love being able to wear jeans, my ugg boots, and my big warm jackets. I love being able to watch football and have get togethers. I love being able to have bonfires and roast marsh mellows. I also love this weather because it makes me think of all the leaves changing colors on the tree's, the leaves falling, and me having to clean them up in my yard. Sometimes I enjoy cleaning up the leaves in my yard because it gives me time to bond with my dad. I also love this weather because it not freezing outside but its not scorching hot, its just right. I like being able to have my comfy clothes on and use my big blankets. Plus I like this weather because my room is down stairs and in the fall it gets really cool and I can sleep better when my room is cool. This weather also makes me think of Thanksgiving with my family. It makes me think of the colors brown, orange, red, and yellow. Fall is just a pretty season and the weather is always nice. This weather also gets me excited for Halloween and the parties. I love getting dressed up and gonig to bonfires or get togethers with my friends. I also like Halloween because I get to go to the haunted houses. I get to watch all the movies on Disney Channel and decorate my house with lights and pumpkins. One of my favorite things to do is carve pumkins.

Successful In Life

I believe that I can be successful in life. I believe this because I am a very hard worker, reliable, and honest. When I want to accomplish something I work very hard for it and do my best at it. I would like to be an anesthesiologist when I am older. I know that it is going to take a lot of school and hard work to accomplish this but I do believe that I can do it. I am a very good student and have always done really good in school. I always study when I need too. I dont turn things in late. I try my best not to procrastinate. I feel that usually when you procrastinate you dont get everything you are looking for or need espeially when it comes to studying for a test. I do have test anxiety but I do believe I can get over that fear by thinking of a happy place and putting myself in that place while taking a test. I am also a very hard worker. I have a had a job since I was 16 and havent stopped working. I believe that I have to work for what I want. Me having a job is good to because I am learning how to become more responsible about things such as bills and managing money. Being a successful worker you have to arrive on time, do what they ask of you, do extra work, not call in, if they ask you to come in on a day off go in, show respect to customers and employees. I think that I will be a very successful person because I am just like my dad. I work hard for what I want in life and I have the attitude of I can do something I just have to put my mind to it. There are times when I stay up late just to make sure everything is perfect for a project because I want it to look its best. I wouldnt really call myself a perfectionist, its more that I am a very organized person. Being successful in life could mean many different things in other peoples life. But in mine I believe that being successful isnt all about the money, its about being happy with what you are doing and accomplishing your goals in life.

In this picture I see the little birds or bunnies that you eat on Easter called peeps. I also see jelly beans. I see blue, yellow, purple, and green jelly beans and peeps. It looks like someone tried to make a maze out of the bunnies. But when I looked at it more I saw the green stands for grass, the purple stands for an Easter egg, and the yellow im not sure I think it’s a rabbit.

This picture makes me happy because of all the colors and reminds me of Easter with my family. I also feel gross because I don’t like peeps.

This picture makes me feel happy about the colors because they are pretty colors. I love Easter candy because it is always so colorful and they are light pleasant colors. It also makes me happy because every Easter me and my family spend time together, go to church, set up an Easter egg hunt for the younger kids, eat lunch or dinner, and get to be happy spending the day together. I kind of feel gross because when I think of peeps I just think of the nasty taste I got when I first tried one. It was like I was eating a big dried up ball of sugar. I don’t eat a lot of candy either so I don’t really care for the really sweet candy especially peeps. I love jelly beans though, my favorite kind are the starburst fruity flavors. And my favorite out of those are the strawberry and orange.

In this picture is me with my best friend Jessica. This night we were at a party with our friends having fun. We are dressed up. I am wearing jeans and a strapless white top with my silver earrings. Jessica is wearing jean leggings and a floral tank top. We are standing close together because we are happy to be together at a party.

This image makes me feel happy because I got to spend a great night with a great friend. It also makes me happy because I have a picture of me and my best friend smiling.

I made a connection to this picture because it was a night that Jessica and I wanted to go out with our friends and have a good time. We went over to my friend Caleb’s house because he was having a party. There were a lot of people there and everyone was taking pictures with each other, talking, laughing, and just having a good time. I remember being outside in this picture and then taking pictures with my other friends after this one. But this picture is one of my favorite pictures of us because we both are dressed up and are having a good time. You can see it in our expressions and I know by looking at this picture that I had a good night with my friends. Usually when Jessica and I go out we go to Caleb’s because everyone we graduated with goes there, people from other schools, and all of our good friends go to hang out and have a good time. Sometimes is nice to just get away and go have fun with your friends. And that is what I did that night with Jessica.
